It all started with a four-inch book written in green crayon on peach paper, called "The Rabbet and Dog and Cat." Yes, I realize that's not how rabbit is spelled. I know that now. But when I was five, I wasn't worried about the spelling. I was too busy creating my masterpiece ("illustrated by the author").

I was raised believing in the good old-fashioned qualities of hard work, honesty, and respect -- it's how I live my life and run my business today. I've never missed a deadline and I'm happy to work with my editors to provide copy they need -- and their readers want. A bonus: I've got an imagination that never takes a vacation, so I'm always searching for fun new twists and creative ways to approach even evergreen topics. And tight turnarounds? Not a problem.

Editing and corporate experience
Prior to launching a successful freelance career, I edited telecommunications and veterinary medical newsletters, website copy, and technical documentation.
I develop, write, edit, and design a wide range of business materials, both in print and online, including brochures, newsletters, press releases, corporate identity pieces, marketing "give-aways," and website copy.
Web and print design
I created the first website for a local veterinary college, and I'm experienced in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, PHP, ActionScript 3.0, HTML, and CSS. I've done layout and design for an entire book project, created interactive web features, and animated book trailers. I'd love to integrate written copy with web interactivity for you!
